| COMMENTS Bros is a restaurant that adds high quality beers and wines as a complement to its foods. Management takes pride in the quality of its food and instills a flare in its presentation. The owner is also the Chef, developing the specialty items that make menu decisions so deliciously difficult. Over lunch, we ordered the Chicken Sandwich and the Cajun Gumbo. Having been in New Orleans three times over the past couple years, I have gotten picky on what I accept as Cajun, so I was very pleased to note the authenticity of the flavors in the Gumbo. Prices here are in what I would call the medium category. Lunch items tend to run $8 - 12 and include salads and sandwiches. The dinner menu includes steaks, duck, and pasta among its offerings in addition to the salads and sandwiches. Side items include vegetables, roasted potatoes, sweet potatoes, beans & rice, and grilled asparagus. Bros has only been open about eight months and as you can see in the picture above is clean, well lighted, and relaxed. We plan to stop by again. Walt 3/27/2011 |
