The Live Wire is an exciting new club on River Street, heart of the Historic Section. The owner
enjoys both beer and music and is trying to develop a reputation as a place where original music is
available on a regular basis. He also has a great selection of American craft brews. Just let him
know what your tastes are and he will recommend some you may not have heard of. I would like to
stop back during the evening to experience the night crowd. I suspect this will be a place high on
the list for the college students.
