RIVER CITY BREWERY - BEERS
The River City Brewing Co. maintains five
standard brews.

These include:

Harvester Wheat
Rock Island Red
Tornado Alley IPA
Old Town Brown Ale
Emerald City Stout
While the logo on the left shows a "Razzberry
Ale," that beer no longer is maintained
continuously.
OLD TOWN BROWN ALE.  While I was
extremely pleased with the quality of the brews
on tap, I must admit to falling in love with possibly
the best brown ale I have ever had.  If you like
brown ale, you must try this one.

ROCK ISLAND RED.  This beer is like a cross
between a mild red and an India Pale Ale (IPA).
You notice the smoothness as soon as it touches
the tongue, but the hops are impressive and give
you a strong hop flavor that stays with you.

TORNADO ALLEY IPA.  Like the name says, you
can expect a tornado to hit your tongue with the
first sip.  There is no shortage of hops in this
beer!  Dan has done an excellent job developing
a quality IPA that is worth a metal.  It is definitely
worth entering nationally.  Best of luck!
WINTER-WARMER EVENTS
Sept. 29 - Tapping of the special
OCTOBERFEST brew.  Brewed in the
traditional German style, this beer is
carmel colored, medium-bodied, smooth
and mellow.

HONEY BROWN

HONEY RYE (Estimated at 12.1%
alcohol, this beer is as close as you can
get to a true mead and still be beer.)

CHOCOLATE DOPPLEBOCK (Available
Dec. 4th, this brew signals the opening of
the Christmas Season.

GRINCH.  Just before Christmas day,
this beer is to be released at 11.5 %
alcohol.  Made in the fashion of a
"barlywine" you can expect it to warm you
regardless of the temperature outside.

IMPERIAL STOUT.  Heavier and richer
than the Emerald City Stout, this beer is
designed for the colder days of January.

BOURBON PORTER.  This porter is
aged in actual wood bourbon barrels to
capture the bourbon flavor.  The owner
of the distillery (where the barrels come
from) even travels to Wichita for the
tapping.
CUSTOMER APPRECIATION
DAY
Following the old custom of recognizing the
customers that make a business successful, the
River City Brewing Co. holds a Costumer
Appreciation Day on the
first Saturday of March,
each year.

ONE DOLLAR PINTS.  Now, where else can
you go to get fresh brewery beer for only a
dollar a pint?

LIVE MUSIC.  Popular local musicians headline
activities and keep customers entertained.

PRIME RIB SPECIAL.  A huge cut of prime rib
sold at cost.

Put this one on your calendar!
