One of the more
prominent "Repeal of
Prohibition" Celebration
parties, celebrating the
73rd anniversary, was
hosted by Schlafly
Brewing in Saint Louis
on April 8, 2006 at its
Bottleworks on
Southwest Avenue.
Home-brewers
from Topeka,
Kansas made the
trek to join in the
festivities.  From
left to right, Walt;
Doug; Bill; John.
Home brewers
from Kansas
and Missouri
talked over
recipes and
techniques
while tasting
the many
varieties of
beer available.
 From left to
right, Pam;
Karmen; Jeff.
Long rows of tables were needed to get all
the different types of beers available at the
festival tasting.  Note the water pitchers -
they are for rinsing glasses between
"tastes."
